We also need to layer in more leadership and emotional intelligence to understand how to conduct ourselves and get the best out of teams.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, there will be times when elements of traditional, plan-driven approaches will be useful and we need industry-specific knowledge to be viewed as credible project advisors by sponsors and stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>These facts may seem obvious and common sense, but unfortunately, this common sense is not commonly applied or taught.
